DIY Easter Bonnet

Here's a little Easter Bonnet I put together for my daughter last weekend ready for her Easter hat parade next week. I shared it over at rachelle rachelle earlier in the week and as it's a super easy project that the kids will love, so I thought I'd share it again with you all.

Tool and Materials

• Easter Bonnet Template
• A3 Cardboard or Felt
• Easter Craft Supplies
• Glue
• Ribbon or Bias Binding

Download the template for the bonnet here.

Then trace out on cardboard or felt. Stick or sew together the back of the bonnet, add some ribbon and decorate with Easter craft supplies. Full instructions can be found here.

DIY Easter Bunny Jars

I just love finding new DIY projects to do, especially ones the kids can help with. I think these will be on my DIY list for Easter. Now just to find some plastic bunnies. I think I know what we'll be doing today.

Tools and Materials

Plastic Rabbits

Glass jars with lids (old jam jars will do)

Spray paint

Super glue

Simply clean the jars and lids, glue the rabbits to the lids and spray them with spray paint in your choice of colour. And hey presto a gorgeous little gift jar for the kids this Easter. Place a little shredded paper in the bottom of the jar and fill with Easter eggs. Yummy!

DIY Fabric or Paper Wrapped Easter Eggs

Growing up my mother had the extravagant hand painted eggs. Come to think of it, I think she still has them. They would sit in all their glory in the centre of the table in a glass bowl on display. So when I stumbled across these fabric and paper wrapped easter eggs I had to share them.

Great to use up your scrap paper or fabric with. I might even give these a go myself, time permitted of course.
