We're turning 2

We are celebrating our second birthday on 20th April. Yay! And to kick off the celebrations we will be doing a handmade giveaway for our readers/likers. If you are a handmade seller and would like to become a sponsor fill in our online application here.

We are also inviting handmade sellers to take part in our 'Make it Work' Challenge which will run over 6 weeks. Each week we will showcase a different category/theme and your inspired creations will be showcased and judged by the public. Each week there will be a prize on offer for the best creation, so get your thinking caps on and get creative.

Market Spotlight @ Handmade Craft Market

The Handmade Craft Market is the Central Coast’s boutique handmade market for all things handmade, handcrafted and homegrown.

Shop for gorgeous handmade originals and delicious treats from local handmade designers and artists.

Located at Erina High School on the Central Coast of NSW (just an hour north of Sydney). The market is run quarterly on the 3rd Sunday of February, May, August and November. Their Christmas market is on this Sunday 20th November so grab your Christmas gifts from over 65 handmade designers and artists.

Special Announcement @ SCH

New Owner

Following my recent announcement that I was looking for someone to take over SCH, I was thrilled to receive 3 outstanding applications from very capable, skilled and passionate women.

After carefully considering each, I am very pleased to announce Rachelle Stewart of Rachelle Rachelle and formerly of the Handmade Craft Market, as my successor.

Rachelle is highly qualified and will bring lots of experience, knowledge and ideas to SCH. Her experience and qualifications in event management, advertising, business marketing and graphic design, coupled with her experience selling handmade items has made her a stand out applicant, with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills.

I will now be able to focus more time on my family, my other blog The Contemporary Handmade Alliance and also my craft hobby Chicken Ink. Creative. I hope that you will stay connected with me via these pages.
